The Photonic artificial Intelligence COmputing REsearch (PICORE) Center has been selected for the 2026 KAIST InnoCORE Program. We are actively recruiting 25 postdoctoral researchers in the field of photonic integrated circuits, especially classical or quantum integrated photonic computing. If you are interested, please contact one (or more) of the participating faculty members listed below. Starting date can be as early as May, 2026.

Team 1: AI for PICs, AI 활용 차세대 광반도체 소자 및 시스템 설계
Team 2: PICs for AI, AI 광반도체 소자 및 시스템 구현
Team 3: AI applications, AI 광반도체 시스템 응용
Requirements
Formal application process during 2026/04 (more details will be announced soon)
Ph.D. degree in science/engineering within 5 years
Full-time postdoctoral researcher appointment at KAIST (or other selected participating research groups at SNU, DGIST, and Yonsei University)
One-year contract, renewable up to 5 years, subject to evaluation
